Taking Risks

Before you take a risk, you really have to think it through and see if they’ll be consequences or benefits from taking that risk. What will you lose, what will you gain, and was it worth it? You also have to think if that in the long run what will come out of it and was it thought out and a calculated one? Is this risk you’re taking something that gives you immediate gratification or is it something that will pay off in the long run?

The question is how will you know if you don’t try and if that risk includes others what will be the outcome be for all of those involved?

I’ve taken all kinds of risks before over and over again and some definitely paid off and some left me asking, ultimately how did taking that chance benefit me? The answer being in some instances it was definitely well worth it and on the flip side it left me feeling frustrated, annoyed, aggravated because of all the time and effort I put into it and I had nothing to show for it.

I could make a list of all the risks I took. Good and bad but I guess what I continue to learn is that if I didn’t take that risk/chance would I have still been wondering what my life would have been like if I didn’t.

I’d say for the most part I’m glad I had the gumption to take that leap of faith in taking those risks, because when I sit back and think if I would have done things differently I wouldn’t have the beautiful life I live today. All though it isn’t perfect and I continue to make mistakes everyday, I still have a lot to be thankful for. From this point on I guess it’s still a learning and “taking chances” process and it involves using both the heart and mind.

Starting from scratch

To me, life will always be some sort of a process. What’s the saying…if you don’t succeed, try again. Well, it’s true. How do you know what will make you happy if you don’t go out there and truly experience life right? If something doesn’t work(relationship, job, etc.)then change it or fix it.

I love sharing my thoughts for the day, recipes, as well as tips and ideas I learned from other bloggers and pinners. Oh how I love Pinterest! I hope you enjoy reading my posts and if you have any ideas or comments you’d like to share with me, please feel free!

I’ve had this site for over 5 years so my life has definitely changed. Relationships have come and gone, I’ve moved a few times, and I loved and I lost. But, this is life right. If I was to go back and delete all my past posts, you wouldn’t have seen the journey I’ve been on. Some of my stories are possibly something one of you could relate to.

Everything that has happened to me thus far has brought me to where I am today. I’ve learned a lot. Maybe you can too. Don’t ever contemplate change. It’s a good thing.
