I’m not lying

I just made THE BEST GLUTEN FREE PANCAKES EVER.

Shit you not. I am not going to make this long and drawn out. Below are the ingredients and instructions. Have at it and let me know how you like them!

INGREDIENTS

1 cup of Bob’s Red Mill 1 for 1 Gluten Free Flour

2 tablespoons of sugar

1/2 table spoon of baking powder

1 teaspoon of salt

2 tablespoons of unsalted melted butter

1 1/2 cups of any kind of milk(I used almond milk)that’s all I had(get it to a nice consistency. – pourable)

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

1 egg

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in your mixing bowl.
  • In a large measuring cup, melt the 2 tablespoons of butter in the microwave.
  • Next, add vanilla extract to the milk and butter.
  • Whisk your egg well and add. to the previous mixture
  • Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. The batter will be slightly lumpy which is good. If the batter feels too thick to you, add a splash of milk and mix again.
  • Use a non stick frying pan or griddle, heated up and add butter or cooking spray.
  • Serve pancakes fresh with your favorite fruit and some warm maple syrup.
  • Store leftover batter in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. To make fresh pancakes, simply warm your frying pan and scoop batter directly from the refrigerator.

Van’s Gluten-free blueberry waffles

Score. Another great try from a Van’s gluten-free product. The blueberry waffles are absolutely delish. Light, fluffy, and full of flavor. Even if you aren’t on a gluten-free diet and just want to get rid of the bloat caused by all the white starchy processed foods that you are eating, try some of the gluten-free products. I can’t say that I am 100% gluten-free but when I can substitute I will. I have more so much more energy and just all together feel better.

Gillian’s French Gluten-Free Rolls

gillians-foods-all-natural-142299

Okay from my taste buds to yours, I tested tasted another gluten-free product. I am giving Gillian’s French Rolls a thumbs up! I feel like I struck gold. They are light and fluffy, 130 calories, 4g of fat, 20 carbs and so ridiculously filling!!

If you are trying to lose weight I really think cutting down on products with gluten in them is the way to go. I feel less bloated and have a tremendous amount of energy.

Sabra Hummus

Another great treat is Sabra Hummus. I like all the flavors but the one with roasted pine nuts is my favorite. I know a lot of people do not like hummus/chic peas but it is so filling and I think it tastes great as a dip. Yup another product that is gluten-free!
