Homemade broccoli and grilled chicken with alfredo sauce

Grilled chicken and broccoli with alfredo sauce

Okay, so here it is but not back by popular demand haha. Here is my broccoli and grilled chicken with homemade alfredo sauce. Following the recipe for the alfredo sauce listed in Sauces and Gravies, and just add broccoli and grilled chicken. Sometimes I like to change it up with California blend vegetables also.

Another special added touch I love to do in the fall and winter months is make the recipe as is and bake in the oven at 375° for about 30 to 35 minutes with a 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese on top. It turns it into a great baked casserole dish.

This time of year…

I took this while golfing up at Holland Heights Golf Course. The views are absolutely amazing, especially in the fall. Both my boys were born in September and with that being said, I had no choice but to sit back, relax, and enjoy the birth of my babies and this beautiful time of year with them. And 9 years later we still take the time to enjoy the foliage here in our area. We’d be stupid not too. New York is known to have some of the best foliage around and I can definitely vouch for that! Since I am jumping the gun a little bit since it is only August ha, I will definitely be posting pictures of the change of season when the time comes, so be sure to keep an eye out for my posts!

Hello world…

What a perfect title to this post. If you never heard the song by Lady Antebellum, Hello World, make sure you pull up the lyrics as you listen to the song. It makes you look at life in a whole new perspective. Life is truly that precious and it’s just too bad people don’t take the time to realize that. I’m glad I finally woke up today(yes today actually) and smelled the daisies(my favorite flower). Maybe if you’re reading my blog, you too are doing a little soul-searching and trying to figure out what your purpose in life is as well. I’ve been down that path so many times before, but I think I’ve figured out my “niche” and what path I’m suppose to travel down, so come with me and maybe we can do this together. I’m a great listener, so if anyone is lost and stumbles upon my page, feel free to vent. I also have a passion to be a problem solver. There is no better reward then trying to make someone feel better. Life is good and only you have the power to make it better.
